Solutions for pump not spraying water:

1. If you have just received the pump, please reinstall it (as long transportation time may cause the rotor propeller inside the pump to shift);
2. If it doesn't spray water in the sun, please check and clean the pump for blockages and reinstall it. Insufficient sunlight will cause insufficient power to stop spraying (its power is very small and requires sufficient sunlight);
3. The pump floats on the water surface and only works in direct sunlight. Obstruction will stop it from working;
4. The spraying effect is affected by the intensity of sunlight, and different nozzles will also produce different spraying effects.

Q: Why is the water jet from my solar fountain so low?
A: The water jet height depends on the water depth, sunlight intensity, and installation method. When sunlight is weak, the solar fountain will spray very little water or not at all. If the water is not deep enough, the pump cannot spray water. The fountain must operate at a minimum water depth of 1 inch (2.5 cm). When the sunlight is strong, the water height will be higher.
Q: How often do I need to clean the water pump?
A: The water pump should be cleaned every 2-3 weeks. The cleaning frequency depends on the cleanliness of the water. More sediment or impurities in the water will make the pump more prone to clogging, thus requiring more frequent cleaning.
If the pump is not working, check the following:
Check the pump drain and pipes for kinks and obstructions.
Algae buildup can be rinsed away with clean water.
Remove the pump's front cover and front panel, and clean the rotor, ensuring it is not damaged or jammed.
Check the water level to ensure the pump is completely submerged.
If you hear unusual noises during operation,
remove the pump's front cover and gland to clean the rotor. Grasp the impeller by hand and gently pull the impeller/rotor assembly out of the pump housing for cleaning.
Rinse the impeller/rotor and the internal cavity of the rotor with clean water.
If the product is not working due to lack of power, clean the solar panel or always place it in sunlight.
If the pump does not work or does not dispense water, please:
1. If the pump impeller is clogged with dirt, clean the impeller and filter cover;
2. If the water pipe is clogged, clean it.
To reduce the risk of product damage, it is best to keep the product in clean water and not in other liquids. Never allow the pump to dry out.
Do not use the pump in water above 95 degrees Fahrenheit or 35 degrees Celsius.
Clean the pump with a soft brush or by placing it under running water to remove debris. Keep the water clean and change it regularly to prevent the water from becoming viscous and forming microorganisms.
