About this item
At Gardiners of Scotland, we've been crafting handmade fudge since day one. As a family business, our commitment to quality and tradition has never wavered. Every batch of our fudge is made by hand, using recipes passed down through generations. Whether it's our classic Scottish butter fudge or unique flavor varieties, we take pride in using the finest ingredients to deliver smooth sweetness. Our mission? To bring a true taste of Scotland to the world, one delicious bite at a time. Fudge is a smooth, delicious treat, but what is its history? While the origins are a bit unclear, the first mentions of fudge appeared in journals in the late 19th century. Contrary to popular belief, fudge didn't originate in the UK but in America! The original recipes were delicate, requiring precise measurements and cooking times to achieve the smooth, sweet result we know today. At Gardiners, we follow the traditional American recipe from the 1880s but have added our unique touch. Using soft Scottish waters and premium Scottish ingredients, we create a fudge with a distinct, world-renowned flavor. Our fudge is handmade, using the finest ingredients to produce an irresistibly smooth treat, loved globally. We offer a variety of flavors, from traditional vanilla to sweet fruit options like Strawberries and Cream. Though fudge was born in America, we believe Gardiners' fudge, made with the finest Scottish ingredients, is truly one of the best in the world.
