Curls have their own weather. Some mornings they rise; some mornings they settle close. You do not have to argue with every strand before leaving the house.
After washing, blot rather than rub if that suits your hair. Apply any styling product according to its directions. With a diffuser attached securely, begin with a comfortable heat and airflow setting. Cup sections gently and keep the dryer moving enough to avoid concentrating heat in one place. Let the appliance cool before storage.

When comparing dryers, look beyond speed claims. Check the voltage, heat and airflow controls, weight, cord, included attachments, and whether the diffuser shape fits your routine. A concentrator can support more directed airflow; a diffuser spreads air across a wider area. Follow the supplied safety instructions and keep electrical tools away from water.
Shape does not have to mean stiffness. Leave a little air between the curls and a little room in the morning.
For a model with screen controls, a diffuser, and a concentrator, see the High-Speed Ionic Hair Dryer with Diffuser.
